Lowell Scott

Lowell Scott is a summer student with Nanda and Company and is entering his second year of law school at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta. Prior to joining law school, Lowell worked in the restaurant industry and as a carpenter.

In his first year of law school, Lowell volunteered with Student Legal Services Criminal Law Project. In the coming school year, he is working with the Edmonton Community Legal Center and is participating in the Low Income Individuals and the Law Clinic, a partnership between the University of Alberta and the Edmonton Community Legal Center.

Lowell is particularly interested in Civil Litigation and Construction Law. He is eager to learn how to find efficient and cost effective solutions to legal problems, as well as find ways to overcome barriers to accessing legal counsel.

Outside of work, Lowell enjoys wandering the river valley with his wife and spending quality time with family and friends. He also tries to squeeze in motorcycle trips as often as he can.
